Hit or Miss Monday

Has your week flown by? Mine has! I started our first week in Charlotte by having a little lunch with Miranda and our assistants. They, of course, are demanding assistants and required most of our attention so we ended up putting them to bed and having a nice cup of coffee and talking about the blog and some future projects. YAY!!!!  It was a nice way to start the week because the rest was hectic... and the worst part... I have barely been on Pinterest (GASP!!!!) Don't worry friends, I plan on remedying that fact very soon. I am going into withdraws and foresee the shakes coming on soon if I don't do something about it! In my brief moments, I did stumble on a hit and a miss and as usual Miranda has some good ones that she's found too so without further rambling....

Miranda's Hit...

I hate the phone.  Like, seriously hate it.  It's become kind of joke with some of my friends who, in their defense, are kind enough to accept this bizarre fact about me.  I talk to family on the phone, and that's about it.  No seriously - in fact when Jamie & I were interviewed by the San Francisco Chronicle, we had to do a conference call and she said that it was the first time she'd talked on the phone to me.  Yeah...we have known each other for years now, and we co write a blog together and yet...we never talk on the phone.  And it's all my fault.  I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way!

and miss...

I don't even know what's going on here - is it some kind of haute couture fashion thing I'm unaware of?  Is this one of those, "it's so weird and ugly it's trendy"  kind of things?  It certainly isn't keeping her head warm, and it's not something that you could wear to say, rob a bank of convenient store so...I'm just not sure what the deal is here.  Anyone?

My hit ...

I love that someone was quick enough to take a picture of this. It proves someone else thinks like me (scary). I have seen guys do this SO many times, especially at the shore (yes, the shore. the jersey way of saying the beach) when they are trying to look good on the boardwalk and yet they can't see. Are you that concerned about the sun hitting the back of your neck that you need to protect it? Is it that uncool to use your hat for what it was intended for? I think my questioning these things proves I'm not cool... it's okay.

and my miss...

Knitters of the world, the fashion industry has finally recognized you --- in the weirdest way possible. What part of this outfit screams fashion forward?? Is it the hands knitting the dress or the weird tape over her eyes? Maybe it's just the giant knitting needles that you could use as weapons when someone dares to question your outfit. I don't think I'll be adding this one to my spring clothing collection...anyone else?

Happy Monday! What have you been pinning??
