Happiest of Mondays friends - hope your weekends were full of fun and relaxation!
Jamie and I hit up some yard sales and stumbled across a random estate sale this weekend. And by hit up yard sales I mean we drove around semi aimlessly while consulting a faulty Craigslist app, then giving up and heading to an antique store that wasn't open yet. So we ate delicious breakfast sandwiches at a cute little cafe, wandered around some more, waiting for quirky little antique store to open, realizing said antique store was run by a truly quirky lady who apparently doesn't run her store with any kind of normal business hours and doesn't even post hours of operation in her window. Give up antique-ing, hit up random estate sale and pick up a few small treasures.
Good times.
We've already revisited our morning and outlined what we'd do differently next time - so maybe we'll have a little more success.
Ok, on to Jamie's Hits:
i love this mostly because i have completely texted random people the wrong things and then gotten the strange "who is this text" -- plus, how much would it freak you out to get this text if you were debating having kids? the glamor of parenting baby.
And her Miss: i really want to see someone wearing this, really bad. let me be more specific, i want to see my husband walking around in this. it's hilarious. the idea of him strutting around in a body sleeping bag. of course, knowing how accident prone i am, there is no way i could walk in one of these. i'd be flat on my face, i'd slip or something.
And my Hit: I hope I'm this cool when I'm a Grandma. Seriously - this lady rocks. I mean, I'm hoping she's in here voluntarily because she believes in never growing up or something and not that she was shoved in by some evil teenagers. Because if she DID get in here for fun, well - that's just plain awesome.
And my Miss:
I really love popsicles in the summer time. What's better than an icy cold, sweet treat - and I really love pickles. I just can't imagine the combination of popsicle and pickle juice. That is disgusting. Seriously. But this actually happened.
