Valentine's Day Pillow Boxes

So you know that Valentine's Day is right around the corner...hope you have some cards ready for your kiddos to haul to school, church, soccer, gymnastics, girl scouts...

You know 2 years ago, I spaced so badly about Valentine's Day that I ended up squealing into the grocery store parking lot about 15 min before school started.  My son and I ran like our butts were on fire inside and grabbed a box of the most boyish looking cards we could find and filled them out as quickly as we could in the car, in the parking lot.  I'm happy to report we made it to school in time and with a backpack full of Valentine's happiness for a bunch of 3rd graders.

Sometimes you just want something a little different than your grocery store SpongeBob or Cinderella Valentine's Day cards - right?

I saw these homemade pillow boxes and fell in love.  Not only are they adorable, but you can fill them with anything you like - candy or non candy little treats!  Win!

You'll want to head over to Pizzazzerie for the FREE downloadable templates.  They are oh so cute, oh so easy and oh so free.

DO IT.

All you need is some cardstock, scissors, a butter knife (yes, really) glue and something to fill them up with.

Totes adorbs, right?

Ah, I just wanted to say totes and adorbs in the same sentence.

What kind of cards or Valentine's treats do you send your kids to school with?
