Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes

This is a short and sweet little post because it's not exciting enough for lots of pretty pictures, but it is cool enough to share.

Every week, a group of awesome people from my church get together to share a little dinner and conversation about life, God and relationships.  Each week, we have a different food theme and this past week was our baked potato night.  I was on baked potato duty with a couple other girls and we couldn't wait to try baked potatoes in a slow cooker.

And one of my favorite blogs, Family Fresh Meals came to my aid with some simple instructions.

Wash and pat dry all of your potatoes.  Poke them several times with a fork, wrap in tin foil and place in a slow cooker on Low for 6-8 hours.

I fit about 10 medium sized potatoes in my slow cooker.

And they turned out PERFECTLY!  The texture on the inside is really soft and they were great.  And it was nice to just turn on the slow cooker and let them go all day.

Have you ever made baked potatoes in a slow cooker?
