Copycat Chick Fil A Peach Milkshake

One of my favorite parts of summer is when Chick Fil A puts out its peach milkshake.  Holy peaches Batman, that thing is like heaven in a styrofoam cup.  I mean honestly.  I'm an addict.

This year, due to rapid (ahem) pregnancy weight gain, I tried to avoid them.  I meant to treat myself once over the summer and wouldn't you know by the time I finally went to do it - it was gone!  What the??  That is NOT nice to do to a pregnant lady.  The nerve.

So - knowing that I had recently been fortunate enough to stock up on some ACTUAL Georgia peaches, I knew I had to try my hand at making a copycat version of the shake.  I felt pretty good about this - I'm sure CFA adds some kind of liquid chemical crack that makes you addicted to it so I knew this would be a better option anyway.  I hunted down a recipe and gave it a whirl.

And PS?  Georgia peaches?  Wow.  Sorry, South Carolina - Georgia completely has a leg up on the peach department.  There is just no comparison.  *ducks head*

Found this knock off recipe over at Thirty Five Ninety Five.

Here's what you'll need:

Chick-fil-A CopyCat Peach Milkshake

2 cups French vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup half and half
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

Put all ingredients into blender and blend on high for 1 minute.

ENJOY!
