Well it's finally happened. Kitchen accident. Right now I am typing this message with my left hand and my right hand elevated. I may have had an incident with my mandolin while trying to do some canning. Let this be a warning to you --- mandolins are no joke friends. They need to be considered a weapon. I may start carrying mine for self defense. Due to my little mishap, my fun canning project didn't get completed... no one wants blood in their carrots right??
Once I can type with both my hands (I'm hitting the dr. for a fun tetanus shot in the morning), I promise I'll give you the full run down on the SAFE way to do some canning.
