Jingle All the Way… A Burlap Sign

Happy Friday friends!!! Are you feeling the insanity of the holidays yet? I'm in denial that we are into the 12 days before Christmas. TWELVE DAYS PEOPLE! This is crunch time - I need to get serious. Macie and I baked some cookies, I'm trying to work up the courage to do gingerbread houses -- it seems daunting.

I was thinking about making a couple fun throw pillows this year for Christmas and fell in love with the ones from Pottery Barn. I'm sure you've seen them - they are pinned all over the place and all of the knock offs. In a whirlwind morning of errand running with the girls the other day, we stopped at Michaels and I found these great burlap canvases on sale. Have you seen them? They are so much fun! Suddenly I no longer wanted burlap pillows, I wanted a burlap canvas!

This is hands down one of the easiest projects I've done. Here is it. I found my metallic Sharpie pens, they work the same as paint pens, and got to work. Basically I looked at a few fonts and then just decided to free hand the word "jingle." If you aren't comfortable free flying, then use a stencil.

Looking at my little jingle I decided that it needed a little something extra so I added a few snowflakes and put my cute little Christmas sign on the mantle.

Quick, Cute. Perfect for the hectic holidays!

What have you been working on??
